Summer has arrived. Matt took the boat out for the fist time this year and did some skiing. I almost wake boarded but the water was still a bit too cold for my blood, as I don't have a wetsuit to help keep me warm. Despite the cold water at the lake the sky has been consistently blue and days quite warm.

Last night while moving hay at the barn, we could see a summer electrical storm in the distance. It was amazing to see the eastern sky light with several flashes and have the hills silhouetted and clouds illuminated from the lightening and to have silence, warmth and dryness where we were.
