100+ Mile Stones.

This month I have run over 100 miles, and I still have a couple more days to log a few more. Why so many? Well I like to run. It has also been part preparation for the Eugene Half Marathon.

After kicking the idea around for the pretty the whole of March, I registered for the Eugene Half Marathon last Friday. In one month on April 29th I plan to run 13.1 miles around Eugene with a ton of other runners.

For me, a Half Marathon is going to be a whole new experience and echelon of running. Sure I think I've got some ideas of what its going to be like, but the truth of the matter is, I've never run that kind of distance for an official time or with more than a handful of teammates on a country road when I was high school. Sure I know what its like to race a 5k (3.1 miles) but not race or really run for 13.1 miles. This will also be by far the largest running event I've taken part of as well which will add a whole to the feel of the whole run.

My goal is not to simply finish, I know I can finish the race. My goal is to finish in less than 2 hours.
