And i get to go in again tomorrow evening to change drives out yet again for a sunday class... That kinda sucks but its more time on the clock so its not too bad.

tomorrow is payday as well and possibly a car show and trip to portland. Could be a damn good friday...

7:44pm:me and my geekly ways. My laptop is about to triple boot. windows 2000 windows xp and redhat 8. I am updateing windows XP right now then I think i will move to the RH8 part.... And i got a Ornico Gold card on the way for my laptop (its a wireless ethernet card... much better than my current dlink one)

Its raining. Its not quite pooring. I wish I could be in bed snoring.

I managed to work an 8 hour day yesterday. Granted it was 4 hours in the morning then a rather large break then back in the evening. I was planning on going into work for an hour or so to prep for a class that kicks off next week. but around 4pm I get a call from Bossman John asking if could work. So I did. I think i was last resort but I ended up saving their asses by working... They messed up plans I had to get some caffine and work on some stuff but I got paid for working so its all good. I will just do the caffine thing today.

I'd say im ready for the week to be closer to over if not over.

6:50pm: made good progress on some pages. I've started the next phase of the project. I think I'm done for the evning though as my brain doesnt seem to want to do anything more. I'm sure I could coerse it into doing plenty more work with some caffine. I think I will have at it again tomorrow after I've had some time to think more about how phase 2 will look, feel, and work etc... I'm sure none of you have a clue as to what in the fuck I'm talking about. With any kind of luck you will be able to see it all in a few weeks or months... I still have much learning todo as well as choices to make and other fun stuff...

Apple announced a new Powermac g4 today or yesterday sometime. I'm just waiting for the new products to trickel down to the ibooks so that I may find my ibook cheaper. I've found my self thinking more about a powerbook lately. If the symantec thing works out I'll be getting my self a mac portable of some sort soon after...

Car show in portland this weekend. Gonna have all sorts of pretty exotics. yay. should be cool and fun... maybe i can get my new watch while up there. maybe not...

5:29pm: Call me Felix... Cause I'm doin his job tonight. So that means I'm workin from nowish maybe 6ish (depening on how nice im feeling at the end) until sometime between 9 and 10pm. So extra hours baby. help make up for the lack of hours from the last pay period.

I don't like Mondays much. But lately they haven't been quite sooo gawd awful. Sure I've been a little extra tired or something. But worth it...

Having such non productive fun relaxing type weekends makes me want to be more productive durring the week. Such as working on pages, or playing/workin on Molly and Honey (servers), and a few other geekly type things.

Wow this month has gone fast. I don't know what to think of it. One month ago yesterday I met Tiffany. Seems like its been much longer than that. So far this year is off to a semi smooth start. There have been some bumpy parts but I think the good parts have pretty much negated the bumpy parts.. to mostly smooth things out.

1:58pm: I just got an e-mail back from the guy at Symantec I was glad to see they don't use outlook as their e-mail client they use lotus. For some strange reason I think thats damn cool.

Also I've been thinking of rebuilding the quotes page... going to a database driven thing and makine user submissions more possible... whatcha think?

Weekends seem to go faster when I'm not sitting at home all day and am actually doing something and some place diffrent. Although I don't know how used to this i should get or if i should. But only time will tell.

I got my hair cut friday evening. So now my head doesnt feel so damn funny all the time from my hair deciding to do its own thing. Which can be quite annoy and funny looking as well as feeling. Not always a good thing when its sticking up and styling it self while at work. But its not a problem any more.

Slept ok. More funky dreams. But I'm gonna need a nap. I felt great/fine when i woke up and was on my way to work but my energy level has droped a notch or two since then... Oh well....

Looks like another weekend in Eugene with Tiffany. Which is cool. The only down side would be how tired I can end up at the end of the weekend but its a good tired i think and I have a good time with her and her cat Caleb...

9:56am: Well crap it seems my database can't be connected too. but the database is up. nothing has changed, that i know of. So i may just remove the whole movie thing, until i can work it out or just remove it... kinda frustrating...

Last couple of days I've been having strange dreams. Some fun, some just plain strange and possibly should be a sci-fi type movie or book. Just I can't remember them well enough to put them down for anything like that, even if did want to.

I got a firmware update for my camera yesterday... Speaking of which Chris may buy my camera from me. Then I'd go buy this one... mmm 5million pixels of digital goodness. Maybe another one or another brand. I dunno. But if he buys mine that means upgrade. YAY!

Work is dead today. I can find stuff todo but not a whole ton. Just enough to keep me busy until I leave. I may be able to find stuff to keep me busy longer but doubt I will be doing that. I might. but I doubt it.

I'm not saying my management is retarded. In fact I think the team/group/dept i work for is pretty damn effective and good. Its just some of the stuff I hear about and now and then see with other departments or companies or whathave you makes me really wonder. So I want to start a movemnt. WARM. I dunno what to do with the movement. But Its kind of a nifty acronym too...

anyways. All and all im gonna say things are good. I've somehow managed to find my self in a new but good and fun relationship. Starting to look for a new job. Not that there is much wrong with mine, just I don't really see mine going anyplace.

So I'm in safeway buying some shit thismorning, the lady infront of me won a free loaf of bread for using her club card. I thought hey thats kinda cool and not much of it. Then its my turn and I won a free Nabisco Go-pack, I chose the Oreos. I thought it was kinda cool....

Collyn comes in today... Chris got moved yesterday... I was late for work yesterday... 3 day weekend.... I got some Mtn Dew in my system... Some Techno playing. Thinkin about coding just because the conditions seem to be about right for it...

So I over selpt. By about 2 hours. So I was about an hour late. So I ran my ass in to work... Kinda sucks. But just a not so subtle reminder to turn your phone off of silent mode after a movie or being in silent mode for what ever reason. I did enjoy the extra sleep I got. But not to much the paniced run to work... Everything seems to be ok here though. I suppose I should go see about getting some other work done...

The DMCA is a dumb law. Maybe not so dumb as it is overbroad and vauge. Everyone from the RIAA,MPAA to Lexmark to Adobe and somecompany that makes garage door openers are suing with, setifeling competition, halting innovation and creativity, and hushing free speech with The Digital Milienium Copy Right Act. A law that seemingly to have been passed to stop/reduce digital piracy is being used to stop fair use as well as competion for making universal (as in replacement type) garage door oppenrs and stoping companys for making refil kits for Inkjet printer cartrages. Seems kinda silly and evil to me... Welcome to corprate America. We can thank them for such stupid laws and things such as the DMCA and CARP....

I got my another programming book yesterday. Programming PHP
. Haven't had much time to do too much with it but still its great to have around, plus its another O'Reilly & Associates book in my collections. That makes something like 5 or 6 of those. I like em. Good technical books.

So that could be fun. If I ever get around to working on web stuff again. I did some last night but not too much.

Chris is supposed to be movin on Friday. Which kinda sucks. Means I gotta do work and I'm not the hugest fan of the people he will be living with... Not to mention a few other things... which i won't...

I am finding it hard to post again as of recently. not really to post but to be brave enough to say whats actualy going on with me. A few of you may know or have an idea.

Part of the reason for the trouble is that I don't totaly know my self and to put something down on words for the whole world to see I need to be pretty sure of it. Not just sure of it but my self, the situation, and the people involved.

In the last week quite a bit as come up and also been straightened out. And many a good thing. I'm doing much better than I was a few weeks ago. Much of the confusion gone. And just being again and pretty happy about things as well. Not everything but still pretty happy.

8:05pm: People, situations can be too fucked up. Or just plain stupid. I'm half way in a situation I normaly try to avoid. But I guess thats what you do when you have a friendship possibly on the line. Even though its only one and the other closet friends of that particular one already would like to see your body rotting in a dark ally someplace. Doesn't make for a very comfortable situation yet somehow you get asked to be there, and go. Why is it that people cannot let their friends live their lifes with out getting so overly and personaly involved with their friends. Friends are close and personal yes but the extent i am talking about just seems overkill. Controlling, maniuplative, jelous, angered, it just seems wrong and evil to me. I have done nothing to said partys who protest my very being. Their friend I however tried to be civil and gentel as possible with as i do care a ton and took no pleauser in any of what happened. but it doesnt seem to matter to them in the slightest. Its their one friend 1st... not them, not anyone else but the 1 friend. just seems fucked to me...

It amazes me what can happen in such short periods of time sometimes. The Good stuff, The Bad stuff and the Other stuff...

I again ended up in Eugene for the weekend. I initaly had no intentions of leaving town or my house really this weekend. But I got invited, so I went.

Now its time to be ready for another week of wonderful wonderful worktastic crap. I brewed something like a half ton of coffee this morning. Something like 15 pots (so far)... And we have a full house today here and then some stuff going on in all our rooms plus stuff on the 1st floor. But I think today is gonna be the worst of the week... thankfuly.

2:54pm: Its been something like 5 days since I've done any serious computery type work. Its kinda weird to be infront of my own monitor for more than 5 or 10 min. But I also am not feelin the urge to be doing much on it. A strange feeling. It could be the lack of caffine, I suppose. I do have a redbull right over there that could be fun... But I don't think I'm gonna.

I got a new wallet. My ID and Money can nolonger directly intermingle so now they cannot conspire against me to be spent and used as I belive they had been...

I know a few of you think I have been totaly stupid or otherwise not very good/nice in general lately. I'm not totaly sorry I just been busy and have been enjoying my self some, but not too much.

It seems one or 2 of you who knows could be more wish bodily harm upon me. I think I have a good idea why, but don't think its anything I enjoyed or wanted to have happen in the 1st place. Don't think i'm not sorry cause i am. But I also think I've done the right thing.

Tis friday. Yay! So glad the week is over. Not that its been bad but it hasn't been exactly easy in a couple aspects of my life. Not to mention I sometime this weekend I can start catching up on some sleep maybe even try to sleep camel (Sleep extra as to store it up for later use)... Parts of this week have been fun, other parts not so fun. I've also somehow managed to not talk to one of my favorite people to talk to for most of the week and hope to remedy that over the weekend or sometime soon at leat. Ya you know who you are.

Birthday is over. Back to normal for the most part. got to remeber to say im 21 not 20 now. Maybe order a drink sometime, the only problem with this is I've never drank before so I have no clue as to what I do and don't and will and won't like.

Got a little over $100 for bday. Spent some of it already dunno what to spend it on. Part of me says Watch, while another says iPod, and yet another says ibook, another says stick it in the bank, meanwhile this one over here says clothes (all the other ones glare and threaten this one often), and a couple more say things too but they are not speaking up loud enough so that i can't figure out what the hell they want me to get/do...

Just for the record, I'm a confused confused boy. But I think I've got some shit straigted out. Well in my head anyways. Now if it works out that way is a whole other story...

Lately I seem to have been doing a great job of not sleeping enough and running my ass into the ground. Its been kinda fun, but oh so tiring and I almost want a break from it as I'm starting to feel like my ass has been ran into the ground... but its all my own damn fault, at least I've been having fun...

Wow. So no classes at work today. Well I'm sure I can still find plenty todo in the way of taking care of the computers and such. I got a few ideas that i wanna try out and since the labs are empty what better time to try...

My mom is such a pain in the ass. granted im not the easiest to deal with all the time but she is just crazy. you end up saying one thing about something that she asked and all the sudden shes yelling about everything else that has no relation what so ever. Makes it really hard to even take anything said in the slightest bit of seriousness. but basicaly I gots to get the hell out, not says her says me. Also a car would be good. Its just the 2 are both slightly on the spendy side and I'm not sure which to go for 1st.

3:32pm: Sponfucktingtanious I tell you. Its been fun too. Kinda reminds me of when Steve and Stephanie still lived in town and wed go do crazy or fun stuff for no appaernt reason. except diffrent... :) its hella fun thuogh. I am most likely gonna be craping on someones plans for me tonight, refering to Chris' mystery phonecall and stranger than normal behavior. But I wasnt told to keep free or any such thing so too bad i guess. I almost feel kinda bad about it....

HA So I cleaned that virus uplast week. It took them until today to get the internet back on them. I had to fight with some tard from the NOC telling him it wasn't the computers with the problems that it was someplace else. He refused to belive me, after all I'm just a punk non state worker kid that doesnt know what hes talkin about. So he was about to head over and check things out on for him self before he somehow figured out that there were filters blocking those few boxes from getting online and called back and said they were taking care of it... I celeberated with a small happy/victory/HA inyour face type thing but he couldnt see it cause he was only on the phone. Its a small victory but it was mine damnit...

Everything elese is alright too. I got to figure out where to go for lunch on Wednesday cause work wants to take me out. hmmmm...

My laptop got yet another upgrade last night, it now sounds and runs a lil diffrent I doesnt sound like my laptop anymore its kinda weird. It got a new harddisk now a 30 gig drive. The sounding diffrent thing is the fact that its a toshbia drive and not an IBM which is was I used to have I havent seen much else used either but the Toshiba so far seems to be working fine.

The 5th. 3 days until the 8th. 3days until my birthday. One of the last ones to actualy look forward to according to many. Maybe 55 the senior discount but thats just old. I'm finding my self taking stock with and about many things in my life the last few weeks with the year ending and my birthday coming.

It seems the IP address of my server has changed. So pictures and such may be inaccessible for a short while while I update stuff. sor for any inconvince or something.

So its January. People are in for x-mas break. This means a game of ulitmate at bush park at somepoint. Today at 2pm is that point. It will be wet, cold, muddy, sloppy, silly, and maybe even fun. I'm just a little tired as I again didn't sleep much but and am now recovering thanks to some antibiotics from strep. So I'm weary of playing but I already said I'll be there.

Got more ram for my laptop ealire this week and now a bigger harddrive too. :) maybe even ram for that silly picture server.

7:16pm: Ulitmate kinda sucked cause it was only 4 people there, not enough for a game. so we just tossed the frisbee around some. It was really kinda lame.

Went to Eugene again last night. This time with Chris and hung out with Tiffany. Had a pretty good time. Aagin didn't manage to sleep enough. But thats weekends are for, right?

Been working with Chris on hacking an Iopener. Its some tricky shit...

GOT MEDS! yay. Should be better in no time. So i had to pay out the butt to see the doc but the meds were cheep so it may be ok. and who can put a price on health? the doctors and its gonna be something liek $150 for everthing. When i left rite aid with my meds i spit something up. I think it screemed before it hit the cement, it was huge and green and nasty.

21 rapildy approaching. A few days left and I can legaly go to bars and gambel in casions. yay?

on the work related portion of my life: We have had the Iraq oil worm come through. I think ive pretty much squashed it, now I wait for the DAS IT Dept to turn internet back on to those machines. The problem is the anti-virus server got messed up at some point and clients (all my machines) couldn't update their virus patterns. And state saw the virus causing havoc on the network and turned the internet off to those machines. The trouble with that is now they can't get online to update their pattern files so they can detect and clean the virus up... kinda funny eh?

Also one of the boxes got rooted pretty badly. Someone got in and stashed a few gigs of files on it and i assume made them available online somehow. I think I took care of them as well.

The 1st of a new year. Many think of it as a chance and starting point to improve and otherwise change their lifes. Hence the resolutions and such. But I personaly don't think resolutions should only come up once a year and have a whole year to work on them. They should come up when you find something that you are displeased about within your self and wish to change. Or when you feel something else needs to change in your life. This can happen any time. Why not make new days resolutions, new weeks, new months, new quarter, new moon resolutions... I think a yearly resolution is sort of a joke I often find my self resolving to do things with in a week or day. Sometimes I don't make it or I lose intreset in the projects etc but at least I complete a few as well. How many people make a new years resolution and drop it all together after a few weeks... Don't give your self time to drop it, or if its gonna take time work at it in mini steps and resolutionettes.
