Stupid bluetooth headset. it now makes a terrible staticy sound from the speaker when charging. Bad news. I'm gonna look into exchanging it. Tomorrow.

Went with Tiffany's parents to portland and droped them off at the motel so that they can catch their filght to Florida bright and early.

Heard some good tunes on the way home that took me back to various places and times in my life...

Tiffany is out on a mission right now. Her and her mom are getting her dad a HDTV for X-mas. And it is going to be here until xmas time too bad it will be stuck in a box the whole time. Oh well.

I had more strange dreams which I can't recall anydeatils of at this point but i know one of them was very phyiscal as i woke up in a slight sweat. Maybe someday i will remember them and then figure out what the hell they mean. Hell I don't know for sure that mine do mean anything. Just one of the ways for the brain to take out the trash if you will if you don't dream you go crazy....

I am still passivly working on the phonecam/realtime photopage. The nessary faciltys do not seem to be in place on my new primary server which makes a slightl problem but I may be able to do it on another one... Which I may look into later today/evening or tomorrow.

Chris has sorta flaked on Tiffany and I. We were expecting him to pick us up from the airport when we got back in on the 17th. But now he can't after he had already agreed to do it a while back. This means a) leaving the ride in parking at the airport and paying long term airport parking b) taking a taxi to the ride at Chris' place and paying for the taxi. c) Finding some other way. So thats a bit annoying.

Tiffany just left for work so now I have the rest of the day and house to my self and nothing todo.

I've started a couple things on the server but don't know if it has all the facilitys will need to get what I want working nor if I will be able to get those facilitys working... Also the server may be serving a new site called ihatecaner.org from a friend at work (Nathan)... Which may turn out to be interesting.

Damn. More messed up dreams last night. This time about a girl that I was in training with at work. Daniele (I wish i could spell, hey that kinda rhymed) and something about her losing her body be cause someother head needed it or something like that. There was a romantic attchament of somekind involved and I had it for her in the dream pretty bad and we were at my mom's old house in Salem. Messed up stuff...

I've been playin with my phone a bunch. I've can send messages to other cellphones using Bluetooth and my Clie so i can acutaly use something that resembles a keyboard to send those messages rather than the damn keypad on the phone... Not to mention the camera on the phone and e-mail... I'm starting to think about seting up a realish time photopage. I take picture and send e-mail to some address and it gets put on a page. The bluetooth headset too, thats right a wireless hedset for a wireless phone, its fun too. Perhaps a more detailed write up in the tech section later....

my new phone showed up today. Early even. And over time at work was canceld so i got up too early but I got to leave work early... Now I'm tired as all hell.. Havent really left the couch musch since I got home..

Tomorrow is thanks giving. My mom called asking what was going on for tomorrow, she wants us to go to chuch with her and her parents tomorrow. Damn I'm tired...

I took over 30 calls today at work. It was a easy day. Which can be cool from time to time.

Tomorrow hopefuly will be easy too. Then its a 4 day weekend which i plan to spend at least one day doing nothing.

1/3rd of the way done with the week so far. woohoo... Blased though 25 calls today and convinced serval people that they were capable of doing it them selfs. I've got to get better at it. It's so much easier and I bet it makes them feel good about them selfs when they actualy can do it... Work was giving away free turkeys today mine weighed 15.47 pounds. I think it used to be big bird or someshit.

Yesterday I finaly got my damn mail server running. I now have yet another e-mail address for a domain i own. How many email addresses does one need you may ask. I say as many as you want. If you are interested in one let me know and I might set you up... So does anyone have any ideas on what to put at my newer domain? me niether...

I'm going to go bug the cats now.

Soo close to having my mail server working. I'm not yet sure why it isn't but its being worked on. I've been getting advice from a nice aussie named Catie on how to get this thing going. The sending half works but not the recieving half which is kind of important.

At somepoint today I have to fill out a ton of paper work for work so I can get hired on officaly and all that other crap. And I have a 4 day weekend coming up this week wich will be cool. To bad Tiffany doesn't stupid banks...

Next weekend is another trip to PDX to drop tiffanys parents off at the airport. so they can fly to Florida where we will meet up with them a couple weeks later. Hopefuly I can find some money by then...

Tiffany went solo to her parents house today cause I'm feeling a bit lazy and I have that paper work to do and I also plan on doing the damn dishes and hopefuly getting my damn mail server working...

My phone didn't show up yesterday. Oh well sometime this week.

I highly doubt it as they haven't even sen't shipping confermation yet but amazon says my phone can be expected today.... Which would be very damn cool but most likely not happening. But I can hope...

tomorrow is laundry day. I think I may have just enough to make it until then.

I've been up since before 8am and am finaly starting to get a bit tired again. I have the problem of waking up too early on the weekends and not being able to get back to sleep. Or if I do get back to sleep its not for very long then I am awake and do it all over again. It is the damn early mornings of the week that do it to me.

I fifgured out I'm gonna be screwed for money to go to Florida.... My last personell source paycheck is Wednesday. Then I don't get paid again until Dec 15th which is while I'm gone. I do have direct deposite but it takes a couple payperiods for that to take. I'm sure something will get figured out its just annoying as hell.

Well Damn! Tomorrow I become a true ECE employee. Also I become a "Mentor" which means I get to have the new people come and listen to me take calls.. Eventualy they do get to take call though which is cool cause then i dont have to take the call.. All of this means less time on the phones. Also I got my phone changed over to Virus Removal + Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Secuirty. So it's been kind of a crazy week/day for me... I think my brain threatedn to walk out on me at one point.

Tomorrow is also when I order my Sony-Ericcson t-610. So the week isn't with out its pay offs... My phone will have a camera so I may setup a page that gets the photos that i take and puts them online......

It snowed today. I didn't manage to see it snowing but i did see the snow on my way home from work in yards and on cars.

I'm getting a new phone soon. I'm ordering the Sony-Ericcson T-610 on Friday and it comes with a bluetooh hands free. Thats right a wireless hands free for my wireless phone. Not to mention a camera. It's gonna be cool.

Tomorrow or Friday I get my orientation for being a new employee with ECE! Whee? so ya. Bennefits are on the way.

I had a fuckered up dream with 2 former crushes rolled into one super crush. I found it (the mix never had a name) at a movie or music shop and it reconized me and I it and hugged then decided to hang out later. There were many near chances to get some but never quite did. I think this is because I'm already claimed on this plane of existance as I kept waking up going what in the hell....

No Clie for me today, It's in the Den. So is Chris but he is sleeping until about the time I start work. It is way to early. Although sometimes I think it is better to go to work tired and kind of "bleh" that way the day goes faster because your not as aware and just auto-pilot through it....

The cats seem to be getting along much better. Actually playing not just one playing and the other fighting. The sleep with Tiffany and I from time to time and its pretty damn cute when they do, except it makes it really hard to roll over or anything like that in bed because they stragticalay place them selfs so that you can't move with out bugging them and feeling bad about disrupting their cuteness. Tiffany thinks I'm too nice to the cats in this manner....

Chris and I are still unsure of Kala actualy making it up as we never heard from her. But thats pretty normal. I hope she had a good time while she was up...

I'd like a radio show where people call up for computer help. But make it love line style and be able to make fun of the tards. I think Chris, Rob, and I could handle such a thing....

I found some cool hacks for XP last night now my laptop is sporting a customized logon screen and for a while this morning a customized start button but then I broke it so i put it back to normal until I can figure out how to make it work again... Perhaps this/these will be the kinds of things that I put up at my new domain? hmmmm an intersting idea indeed. Or I could put some of the stuff in the techblog, hmmm....

I'm also thinking about switching my desktop system over to XP from 2000. But am kind of unsure about it as I like my win2k quite a bit. So I can't mod it near as much as XP but it a bit leaner and runs a bit faster as a result. Something to think about... Maybe next time I have to reload my OS I will think about it again.

Gonna be crashing in portland tonight and hopefuly having a good time up there

I got my conversion packet today. Which means I will be getting less pay soon. Why beacuse of bennefits like medical and dental.... I will somewhat miss my weekly pay but wont mind the larger paycheck that will be directly deposited to my account on Fridays. I did another hour of OT with one customer tonight.

Tomorrow is Dave Attell and Lewis Black in Portland. Whoohoo. That should be cool...

Next month is Florida. And xmas. to bad I still have to do all my damn shoping. Not sure what to get who yet but I'm workin on it.

One customer managed to keep me an hour after work to fix something that took me all of 5 min to do. But the tard wouldnt get off the damn phone to get his shit fixed 1st so that we could do it. But I charged his ass for it. And It's more money for my next pay check.

Tomorrow is Friday. Friday is good as I hope you all damn well know. If you don't you need to be hit upside the head until you conform and realize Friday is good.

Saturday will be good too. Going to see Lewis Black and Dave Atel. Perhaps a stop in Salem at some point to vist people and/or family. This weekend should be good. This week has also gone pretty quick like..

Work was alright today. The phones are starting to tease me. The little light that lets us know how many people are waiting turns black from time to time for a while here and there. Black means no one waiting to talk to someone. Then I get off my next call and push the ready button on the phone and BAM next call. Wait the light was black why did I get a call with zero wait time? Damn! But I did get 5 min in ready time later in the day when the phone stayed black. Now it just needs to do it more.... The problems at work and the calls are getting a bit strange too. I blame the full moon that is tomorrow.

Tiffany is begining to anxiously await the relase of the new sony super camera the DSC-F828. Once she does I will be a bit jelous I must admit but at least I will be able to play with it once she gets it.

Today was long. Today wasn't too hard but it wasn't too fun. No biggie. Got lunch with Rob and Tiffany. Which was good. Had a few laughs as usual at work. Often at the expense of customers who are unaware but they usualy deserve it. Some deserve much worse.

I'm sorta kinda working on a new photo engine thingy. But it is very slow going because I keep chaning how I decide I want it to work. This is mostly because of my lack of expernice with PHP but I'm learning still but not doing a bad job, at leats I don't think so... Now to see if I ever finish it. Hell does anyone care if I even have the photos section?

I managed to not take one call after closing at work. How? I pushed my last break back until 5pm then I took some project time to input all the info from the previous 10 or so calls I took when i tracking system was down to put them into the tracking system. Then by the time I was done the Queue was cleared. Woohoo...

Today wen't pretty damn quick. Had a good time with Chris last night. Gonna see lewis black This weekend which will be cool. Hopefuly arange a runin with Kala as well.

Tiffany is currently scrubbing the paing off a wooden box with Brandy. Thats right we have found booze to be a very effective solvent on things like paint and varnish on coffee tables.

Tomorrow Chris is comin' in to town with Toys and such and Tiffany's Friend's Husband to pickup a check so that he can get stuff out of storage and send it to belgum then he goes to belgum on Tuesday I think. Much cleaning will need to happen in the den area to make it clean enough and roomie enoug for Chris to crash in here again as Tiffany and I have been nearly living in here dealing with her computer ish problems of the last few weeks... Not to mention her doing much of her homework in here.

Saw Tombraider II tonight. It was decent.

Got paid. Only to pay Tiffany's parents back for the ticket and Tiffany for the food she went out and bought yesterday. So most likely no toys for another few weeks. Or months depending on how things go.

The ram for Tiffany's computer showed up today. The good stuff too, crucial. She's only got a gig now not two gigs but it is still plenty...

I'm gonna go do something else now. Cause I really have nothing to say.

So I get home and check my email as usual. It downloads just fine. Then I come here to look to see if there has been any new posting left by my great team of posters and such. But I couldn't get anyplace. But I could still ping things and get DNS resolution. So I call my ISP speakeasy and they can ping me and all looks to be good but I can't get my mail to check or pages to load anymore. I had checked a few things but all that it took was a restart of my Orinoco router and all was good after that. After sitting on hold for enough time to hear Blondie's Rapture and parts of another song that doens't matter cause I'ts no where near as good as Rapture. Speakeasy has good hold music ! which is very cool and made it more tollerable when I had all my setup questions and was probing about my install status the last couple of months. But I spent all that time on the phone and taking up their time when I should have just rebooted my router, which until now had never given me problems.

Tomorrow will be good. Why? because its Friday and Fridays are good damn days even when they suck ass at work because then you get time off and the binge drinking can start.... If i wanted it too which most likely won't happen cause well I'm a light weight and that sounds like a lot of work to binge so I'm not going to. And there is crap to be done this weekend that would just get in the way of getting the stuff done, not the stuff getting in the way of drinking as you drunks are thinking...

Redhat has released their 1st version of Fedora. The dev/replacement version for the former consumer line. Now I just need a system to try it on. The sick sad part is I've got so many systems here but none for testing OSes and playing... Most of them have a job/task that they do. So I may have Chris get me one.

Tiffany got the time off and in December I will be finaly getting off the damn west coast and going to Florida for a week. Woohoo...

Tiffanys computer is so close to done but so far at the same time. Turns out the RAM she got doesnt want to work for here system. This sucks. It doesn't even want to work in mine. She may have to just go with 1 gig of ram vs the 2 gigs she was gonna have... Unless she goes with some slower ram.

I've gotten the pictures on honey working again... Its not like Chris has updated them at all since they went away but hey thats ok.. I'm slowly working on putting together my own photo thingy. Database driven and such. But we will see how that goes if it at all. It's getting hard to find the time to just work on it. Modivation is a problem as well. I've also recently restored a certain acount on honey....

I think I'm gonna go someplace else now. like the living room and watch a movie or something....

It looks like it may be time for me to find a new linux distribution. Redhat has announced it will no longer be making a consumer line of products. They will however still be still a Work Station version and server versions. And providing a free Development edtion which sounds like it may be what I want. But then again I will just have to wait and see....

I got stoped by the CD/Game Exchange on my way home from work and goy my self 3 new CDs for $10.

I came home to find the cats sleeping with in inches of eachother. it wasnt close close but it was less than a foot. Caleb seems to be doing much better than he was this time sunday or even yesterday.

I think Tiffany is getting into the whole computer modding thing. She has now hidden 2 cdrom drives on computers so now it looks like a blank pannel where the CD rom would normaly be. Its kinda cool and if you poke at them near where the eject button would be they come right out.

I've still got no idea of what to put on my new domain. Well I have ideas but nothing good.

Today we quest to frys to return a broken computer and get a replacement.

I've got a new cat on my lap. I will post pictures one of these days. He is the sweetest thing and near Calebs age and very laid back. Very sweet and affectionate. You just touch him and he startst o purrrr away and leans into you for more. His name when we got him was Sailor. But we didn't like that so we changed it to murray which means sailor so we didn't change it that much. I don't know how but this was his 3 time coming to Eugene from florence to possibly be adopted. That was 2 other weeks of no one wanting this cat enough to give him a home that wasnt a cage. This fact made Tiffany just want him that much more. We still are hopeing that him and Caleb start getting along soon. Caleb is doing much better than he was. Hes no long hissing and stalking Murray.

I'm still working on getting this whole email server thing going. It's kinda hard... I'm really gonna just have to sit down and focus on it one of these days. And do it until its done or working.... I've got all sorts of rewrites I have to do for the new server too because I doesnt handle some of the older php stuff for some reason.

Todays task is see if i can get a mail server setup and working in one way or another. I plan on doing this while Tiffany has here party thingy out there in the living room area of the house.

We have gotten a new cat. We haven't named him yet but so far him and Caleb are still meeting and tring to get used to eachother. We were going to the petstore to get a fishy and Tiffany saw the cat and just had to have him so now we have a new fishy and cat.
