I have a bit more than 48 hours off until the grind starts all over again. But that is the nature of the machine. If you understood the metrics the politics the reason the rhyme. Its about money and bodys. A coworker described it as a firewood model of working. Toss a log on and if i burns out put a nother on. Logs being people. The fire being call volume and need for fuel. It is a huge corp that just needs people to fuel it's fire to make it a profit. Granted it isn't all bad, the company i am working for is providing thousands of people with jobs around the country. People need jobs people need medical coverage even if the deductible is as high as it is for their cars and possibly higher in somecases...

I wouldnt mind another job no. But beggars cannot be choosers. I'm glad to be employed in such a time. I am also lazy so haven't looked for new work yet.

News comes eventualy. I don't want the wrong people to hear 1st which is why i delay so much. I applogize for this. I will try to make up for it in one way or another.... perhaps with pictures? press release? a new page? a new section?... hell i don't know.

There is soo much stuff to buy and soo little money to do it with. If anyone wants to send me free money or money for uh. Prints of pictures that I have taken or some crap like that so I can afford more toys and will be able to continue to afford more toys. If money or toys were sent my way perhaps i could also send a picture of me and the toy... eh? ya i didn't think there would be any takers.

This virus has got to stop. It is really stupid. And only enforces my thought that people as a whole are dumb as shit. Ohh an attachment with a e-mail from soneone i don't know with a cryptic message and an attachment. This virus accounts for 1 in every 12 emails at this point. And keeps spreading because the masses keep clicking it. Some people wonder why i think people are so dumb and hate them the masses with little to discression these are just a couple of the reasons.

Lets see. Something positve... um. Chris has my old mp3 player thingy and had it working for a while. Then I think he broke windows 98... Tomorrow is thursday and then its friday and then comes the weekend, which is always good.

I think my snail type mail is stuck in salem despite the fact that it is suppsed to be forwarded. Stupid USPS... At least I will be stoping through to show my dad something on my way up to portland sometime this weekend.

I just found out the bluethooth sync stuff for my phone needs to use outlook express. ICK!!! I hate OE. As I hate most other MS products.

I've got some cool news. I just have to find a good time to disclose it. I'm sure it's nothing like the 2 of you who read this thinks it is. But its good stuff. Most likely after the weekend.

There is a new virus out and about. And its nasty. But I think it is kind of cool too be cause it goes after SCO. it attacks SCO with DDoS attack. Which is bad ass cause sco sucks. But really sucks because I am most likely going to be taking calls on how to fix it tomorrow all day. Amazingly enough i actualy got an e-mail with the virus. This meaning someone who is infected has me in their address book or my email address on their system. I'm not infected so I'm still golden. look out for email with text like "Mail transaction failed. Partial message is available."

All and all today was decent as far as work goes.

I got that new harddrive installed in the server so now it has some where around 230 gigs of storage. A little bit more than half the storage of honeyryder who lives with chris. So far I've just put all of my CDs on it, Tiffany's cds are being copied to it right now and we will be able to access the music much the same way we do with honey.

The camping trip idea is growing. Nathan has expressed interest in going as well as Chris and Chris will most likely spread the word to Joe and John, hopefuly Cat as well. Kala will make it if she can and Collyn sounds game except she has no camping gear. Which isn't much of a problem at all, all she will really need is a sleeping back and if she doesnt have one I'm sure an extra can be found by a few of us. if not she can share with the person of her choosing... More about dates when I know more.

Seriously I need to come up with something good to do with badcommand. My other domain which is basicaly a void. It has a couple of functioning subdomains but that is about it.

I post this post from my clie. via the new bluetooth adapter i got for my pc to allow such things among other things like connectivty yo my pc to my phone. i also got a 200 gig hd for my server.... i went to frys with nathan, a co worker.

tomorrow is table shoping. for tiffany. as today she had a slight mishap while refinishing her table thus now needing to shop for another to replace the current goofed up one.

I didn't think Friday was going to ever fuckin get here. But here it is Friday and damn does it feel good.

Got my 2nd IP changed . To and even better one than what it used to be. Not to mention it works now the people page is back in all its dumbness. and um I had to call my ISP to get it fixed too they had to rebuild my circuit or some crap. I works now and badcommand is up again. even though it doesnt do shit yet... well other than a bit of DB service. Getting it back up was something I was starting to lose hope in... but its good now.

Tomorrow looks like I'm going to Frys with Nathan. Now lets see what i do or don't buy tomorrow. Unless I bail because I do kind of want to just stay home and veg.

Oh and I'm still waiting for dating resumes from anyone else. So far I only have 2. Mine and Kala's. I want 3 before I post them, more would be better. Ern, Collyn I'm lookin at you 2.

The week needs to end.

On the plus side is that its very nice out especialy for this time of year. I like getting off work when there is still day light left. The sun is just hovering above the rooftops and casting a nice warm glow on everything the air is cold and clear. Makes for an enjoyable walk home. yaknow.

today was not a good day at work...

i'm still workin on problems with the ISP/IP/HOST company. I've really should have the host company try a few more thingslike try accessing my 2nd IP. As I can access it from every other place i use the internet.

My fleece has what i belive to be a manufacturing defect in it. One of the pocket's seem is tearing out from under it. I've e-mailed the company already hopefuly there will be a new one on it's way or something nice like that. Or possibly I can get tiffany to fix it for me as she is kind of handy like that.... I really do not want to deal with having to send the damn thing back and waiting for a new one.

Why is this week not over yet? Tomorrow is still not friday... at least its getting closer...

Kala came and left again and we never managed to meet up at any point. A shame too. But life goes on perhaps next time or some point over the summer.

I've started to think about making plans with some people for camping someplace in Southern Oregon this summer. Not sure where yet but people I've got an idea. Chris, Tiffany, Joe, Kala (if she can make it of course), Collyn, Perhaps my cousins coming by for a bit if we are near enough, Cat... maybe more. But i have yet to talk to anyone other than tiffany about this... I was thinking at least 2 or 3 nights maybe more for camping...

This week is draging ass.

I drank my drink a bit to fast on a bit to empty of a stomach. But I'm feeling better now because Tiffany takes care of me.

I got my fleece today. IT has lots of pockets and holds all my stuff.

No more closing for me this week woohoo.

Henry Rollins will be in Portland in March. I'm seriously concerding getting the time off of work to go see him.

Tiffany and I were sitting around taking the other night. I realized like all the TV shows that we watched as a kid were the ones that my damn sister liked. I liked only a few of them but she some how won out more of the time than not and got to watch her stupid shows like saved by the bell, the monkeys, round house, brady bunch, happy days, charles in charge etc.... Oh well now its my turn. I download the shows i want and or buy them on DVD and watch them whenever however and whereever i want....

My fleece gets here tomorrow woohoo.. Perhaps kala and Co tomorrow evening/night as well.

Again I must say the Game Shark Media Player is GREAT! I can watch the stuff I've downloaded on my computer on the TV now and listen to all CDs that are backedup to MP3 format in the living room on big speakers on the comphy couch with a blanket and laptop on my lap. Like i am right now. This is something Chris would appricate.

Justed missed kala today. We where on her way and she had just passed through. Perhaps monday night or something.

Tiffany got a new watch because her Skagen's band got messed up. The bands on Skagen's bands are not really fixable and it would have most likely cost her as much to replace the band if not more than it did for the watch. But she got a Luminox much like mine but metal and more expensive.

Monday is when i get my new super fleece.

No kala to night. perhaps for the better because I'm tired as all hell. Got an hour of OT and i hated every minute of it.

Tomorrow kala and co will be stoping through at some time tomorrow.

Tomorrow is also laundry day.

Today I missed the damn delivery of my fleece. This annoyed the hell out of me as they can leave my $300 phone on the porch. But not the cloth item that is less than $150. They will try again monday and thankfuly tiffany will be here to get it when that happens.

Still not fixed. Fat cow has given up on it too. Perhaps I will ask my ISP to deactivate that IP and then I will reactivte another that isn't blocked by the stupid hosting company.

I'm soo ready to be done with the week. I wish there wasn't anything going on this weekend so I could sit around and do nothing but I am trigger boy for tiff's family pictures sometime this weekend and who knows what eles...

At least tomorrow is friday. too bad I don't have anything good to mix booze with around here so no binge drinking until then. Not that I've ever binged anyways it's mostly just fun to talk about.

The week is getting closer to over which is good.

Kala and CO. Friday may be better. Then we could hang out in the evening and you could most likely crash here for the night and hang out for a while in the morning and then contiune your trip once I/we have left or something like that.

They still havn't removed the filter causing the problem. But I've opened up a new ticket to get them to do it.

Work was another long damn day. Since I've been there I've known of 5 people that are no longer there a few quit one moved but I think thats partly because he didn't dig the job and wanted to go back to his old one or something. and the last was fired. I know others who are looking for new jobs and one whos last day will be at the end of this month because he would rather be in the army than at his current job. Maybe I should look for a new job too... this one is annoying.

At least tomorrow means halfway done with the week.

I'm thinking I'm going to end up busy this weekend. But that also means I will be able to play with Tiffanys super camera because her family wants a family picture. and Tiffany is part of the family so I take the pictures. whee.. mmmm 8Million pixels of fun..

Got that connectivy problem sovled for now. Initaly it looks like it was a problem from my host company. They had filtered the IP from when i forgot to patchup a linux box a few months a go and the box went apeshit with the slapper worm. But its better now. so they unfiltered it. YAY! adn they kept tring to tell me to check my settings and e-mail settings. e-mail had nothing to do with it and my settings were good cause i could get anyplace else that i wanted.

got 45 min of over time today. and now have a cute white kitty on my lap.

don't forget to get me those dating resumes so i can get them posted...

8:35pm: They say they fixxed it but they didn't do it yet. But if they don't i will just pester them more and more until they do. This is so far the 1st and only problem i have had with my hostcompany fatcow. and it is not entierly their fault but they do seem to have a bit over zelous about their ip filtering and blocking and never removed the block after the problem stoped. anyways things should be ok again with in the week. Not that much is wrong other than the people page being down and not being able to access the site from my home server which makes uploads and updates for some things a bit more diffiicult. no matter.

I've moved the DB tables. And updated the people page config but still seem to be having problems connecting to the dbserver. But I'm working on it.

Tiffany got the Game Shark PS2 Media Player. It is working great and all on the first try too. And so far we have watched some Clone High and going to listen to some mp3s and such look at some pictures too eventualy I'm sure. Great stuff i tell ya.

Anyways I'mg gonna go play and see if i can get other stuff working...

I haven't done any of the database moving or other work on the server today but I have made some progress in GTA VC today.

Tiffany is at a birthday party for her 2nd cousin or something. I didn't feel like going so I didn't I stayed and played VC. Damn I love that game. And tonight will be more games and fun people..

The server work will be done by the weekend i swear. I just have a db to move and permissions to set. Easy stuff as along as I don't get busy it will only take maybe 2 hours if I'm feeling really stupid.

Friday. A night to relax. Play games. Play with computers. Do nothing other than what I want to do.

The server is nearly ready to go. Mainly all that I have left to do is transfer the databases and then adjust the site to point there for the databases. Perhaps tomorrow or sunday I will be doing that process. Most of the data has been copied or moved already. I even have a preliminary page made for the dating resumes. which will hopefuly be a hit of some kind....

I want to create a draw to this sites from something other than damn quotes. I will most likely have to get a lot damn better at php/mysql stuff to pull it off but a start is a start...

I hauled ass again at worktoday. This week does seem like its been taking for damn ever to finish. Oh well..

I've started work on revamping my local server here. So database and other crap should be moved over with a week. Hopefuly sooner. the installation has been tring to fight me. Last timeI tried this I had to fight too. But hopefuly this time it will be diffrent.

Tomorrow I'm 22. Crap I feel like I'm getting old. No sir I don't like it. Maybe I can get my super to let me off work early or something like that tomorrow. Or maybe just less time on the phones...

I've decided to decommisson Sally the breifcase server infavor of marrygoodnight. who happens to be a bit quicker and with more memory and HD space and much easier to work on as its not a briefcase. So I'm gonna have to move the people comments and people page databases to it after I rework her and reinstall an OS.

Once the move is complete hopefuly I can start work on a good dating resume's page. Something somewhat like the people page. Maybe not maybe I will do it in a diffrent manner. Right Now I have a few preliminary pages put together for it. I just need what I always need. Content. Send em in.

I'm likin the new hybrid stuff.

My new Hybrid CDs showed up today. One even has a DVD of the tour they were on with moby which I caught back on Sept 15th of 2000. Damn that was a good week. Wandering portland with Mike and Mina. Not knowing a damn thing of where i was and only a vauge idea of where I was going. And all the money I needed to have a damn blast for the 3 of us.

Morons all day at work today. But thats ok. It's over now just 4 more days of them this week. And I got nearly 2 hours of ot today because of a long call and some of a scheduling mistake...

Kala has this insane idea about dating resumes. She wants to start a collection. I say we put the collectionon a seperate section of the site. Perhaps attach it to the people page? or maybe a page for everyone to post one to? I wish more people came around here then I could get more feed back on the idea.... But maybe if I build it they will come. Like the Quotes page.

Tiffany has the network adapter for her PS2. Now I just have to figure out how to get network to it. So I have to um well teardown the currnet setup and reconfigure stuff all over the place. So I may be busy today.

Tomorrow is work again. Next weekend will be another game get together at Nathans. And Thrusday is my birthday.

Maybe I wont tear down the network yet cause its a huge pain and there should 1st be something todo with the PS2 network adapter like the media player software.

Tiffany got 2 great new toys today. A new phone and the super camera from Sony and a fun a little Samsung phone. Both of which I like a lot lot and want. But I have lots of my own toys to play with still. Its mostly hers are newer and better but mine still work damn good, damnit.

been watchin season two of Futurama good stuff I tell you. They even used the term junk and stuff in one of the episodes. They stole that from me. I don't care that i registred the domain after the show came out (i think)... I had it before that just never the money for a domain or anything.
