Spent some time cleaning the spam out of some of the other MT accounts on the site and using my comment spam cleaner. Speaking of which I'm thinking of a few things to compliment it or have it do as well like sync all the users blocked lists and maybe creat htaccess to totaly prevent access to any of the site for some of the offenders and the refferer spam I've been getting too. Most of it will most likely wait quite a while or until I'm feeling highly modivated to do so.

Listening to Pink Floyd in my car lately cause it's what I left in deck for my dad over the weekend, I don't have much else I know he likes so it was Floyd and Dire Straights for him. Good stuff, mostly mellow I didn't listen to any of it that just floored me and took me back to high school sometime. Which it just might do, as I listened to Floyd quite a bit then....

I think the bennefits department at work fucked up on my bennefits cause what I swear I previously chose is now not part of my package and HR wasn't any help so I'm waiting to hear back from the bennefits group.

I just got home again. This time from getting my car back from Salem. We got home we showered we changed. I called to see where or if my dad was coming through today. Turns out he went back lastnight so no easy switch in Eugene. So I drove the brick, er jeep another 60ish miles to my dad's place so I could get my baby back.

27min left says the copy process for the pictures from the lookout and the trip. Highlights of the trip: peeing off a 40 foot tower and each of the platforms, lots of pictures, lots of fog, a little snow, a tree down on the road out.

I just finished a crudeish but effective script to delete any spam comments once that IP has been banned by any of the MT users at junknstuff.net. So if you have comment spam ban the IP addresses and I will get it from there. I've got a couple other ideas up my sleeve but nothing solid, yet. If this works out well I may grant access to uses to the cleaner or may share the tool with the world if they want it.

I drove the jeep back from Salem last night. I missed my car before I even got out of the Salem area. It was like driving a brick turned up on its side and put on wheels. Ride isn't near as smooth or nice as my BMW and the steering is nearly numb, I don't feel road through the wheel nor get feed back from the wheel.

Taking pictures of the moon is harder than one might think. I did get a good one.

Traffic citation. I ran a red, but I didn't notice. I now gotta pay $237.00 or jump though many hoops and still not get out of it and have to pay. It pretty much fucked up my day.

Maybe I will get drunk and find something fun todo to make up for it.

So I tried to slow way down at work and not rush the call or convince the caller it is over in a attempt to perhaps improve the quality the customer thinks is there. Well it kinda worked. I still took more than 20 calls and beat out most of the team. Oh well.

Tomorrow is like Friday as far as work goes. Hopefuly it will be like the end of today. Some people went around 20min between calls.

Hopefuly weather is good for trip and while at the place I want to take some pictures damnit. It will be fun even if weather is suck.

I'm getting excited for the trip to Pickett Butte. I even used some nifty free tools to make 3dem map of the area with a USGS Topo map overlay with a GPS waypoint marking the location we will be staying. Now if you just want to see what the crap I am talking about click here. Also that was my 1st time using the 3dem it took a few trys but I had never used the program before today.

Tomorrow I work. The next day I work. Then it is more weekend.

Got the Supger Zoom kit for my camera last night. This includes a extra grip and a 75mm-300mm lense and a bag. I also got a polarizer. Hopefuly I will have enough money between my next 2 checks to get people x-mas gifts.

I took some pictures with my camera yesterday of the puppies at Tiffany's parents place. So if you know where I hide my pics go see if you want.

2 days of work this week. Then to Salem for the Jeep then to the lookout on Friday.

I attempted to call my dad last night about the jeep but he wasn't home. But I got a call this morning. I asked to borrow the jeep, but he is planning on taking it to Grants Pass for the weekend. So I told him he can take mine instead, he seemed to like this idea. So Thrusday or Friday I go get the jeep and Sunday sometime Dad drops by on his way back to salem and we trade back.

Now I am also thinking about getting my self a new lense for my new camera. Currently I have a 18-55mm lense. So it goes from a decently wide angle to fairly normal angle. I'd like to have something for longer shots and provide more flexablity.

I spoke to many underqualified admins today. A few of them didn't even understand what is was they were working with and couldn't follow writen directions, this is how I ended speaking to them.

We had an invitation to the Rouge Brewery tonight from Tiffany's friends but it's a long drive and still leaves the question of where the crap are we gonna sleep. Not to mention we got laundry todo sometime this weekend. But Tiffany has like a 6 day weekend while I have a 3.

Um I may have to buy a GBA for this thats right. Grand Theft Auto Advanced. I admit it, I havea problem.

Did the meetup thing again last night. Smaller than last time but good. Nathan is afraid of downtown so he didn't go cause he is a girl.

I also played with my new 6.3 MP of digital SLR goodness some last night. I took a few long exposure pictures of my new watch. I may go take more pics of more stuff after work. But I may just pull the pics off and see how they look too. I've also got to learn this camera too. I've never had a canon and its been years since I used a regular SLR. But thats ok it should be fun.

I need an SUV or other vehicle suitable for me to drive to camping in thanks giving weekend. Nathan turned me down on account of dogs and the fact that he cannot be trusted with my car. If i remember I will call my dad and ask.

I got my Digital Rebel. The battery is still charging and about 50% done, so I may not get to play with it for a few more hours so I may not get to play with it tonight at all really. But thats ok, I think. But it is the largest heaviest camera I have owned to-date. I think my Nikon FM-10 (fully manual SLR for film that I used for a class a few years back) might be close in weight.

Chris will be coming down tonight and crashing here. So that will most likely mean a free meal. Some GTA SA time too most likely.

Finished up with the newhire orentation crap today. Damn that was some stupid stuff that only about 10-15% applied to me. I think I forgot that stuff too.

DHL decided since nobody was home to take their call they should leave the camera on the truck and attempt to deliver it, even though they had already been instructed to hold it for us.

Tomorrow is the last day of new hire orentation which means thursday and friday I will spend all day on the phone, doing what I do. But then I have monday off. So a 3 day weekend then 2 days of work then a 4 day weekend with a stay at a lookout tower.

Tomorrow is also the next meetup for Eugene area Blogging type people. Not sure if I'm gonna go or not yet...

I get my new camera tomorrow. I got the 1 gig compact flash card today apprently is has some trial software to try on it ready to install. I might pull the files off I might not.

Spent most of my work day in a new hire orentation which ammounts to propaganda and other borning bullshit that doesn't matter to me at all right now and by the time it does if it ever does I'm sure it will all have changed and not matter anyways and I will have also forgotten. I did get paid too which is a good thing.

As for modding my x-box I belive we have worked it out so I can exchange X-boxes with someone and mod the older one I will be trading for.

Progess in SA is slowing dramaticaly. Races are now quite hard, the few remaining misshions are tricky, the cars on the wanted list are hard to find and

Had another game night at Seans. Nathan supplied the games and sean the pizza, couch, TV and place to do it. I spent most of the night getting my ass handed too me in most of the games we played. I won a few times at double dash and was also on the winning team for wresteling a couple times too.

Tiffany went to Corvalis, while I gamed last night, to hang out with her friends Rachael and Sara. So once I got home around 1 am I had the house to my self. But didn't do anything good other than sleep.

I had all sorts of comment spam again this morning. But I wiped it all out with my SQL Skills ok so it's just a query to kill anything like the comment IP. DELETE from mt_comments WHERE comment_ip LIKE "xx.xx%"; there I told you but unless you have proper access to a database server that may not work. But you can use something like myphpadming to gain that.

I beat the story line to GTA SA. But I still have about 40% togo before 100% the thing is there is tons of stuff todo in the game like pimp hos, drive trucks, driving school, complete races, jump jumps, and such that are not needed to make it through the plot portion of the game. So I will most likely spend some time doing that now. Maybe less than I have been playing so far. Maybe not....

Washed my car. My driver side foglight should be replaced cause it's fogged up. Thats another $69.95 from bavauto.

Got a new watch last night. It's also a luminox. I'm also getting a repair esitimate for my other watch so hopefuly it will come back in working condition eventualy. Never take your watch to Batterys and Bands shop in the damn mall. Go to a jewler. They offered me a loaner watch while they had my other one but I just bought one so I didn't need it.

I'm 56.something% done with SA now. I saw a rapping midget. Also stole a military get and shot 3 other jets down and sank a few boats then put the jet in a hangar at my air field, I also robbed a casino with the Triads and took back a house from a druglord. When I get home I will pick up my brother from jail and attempt to reclaim my old hood. I also plan on doing motocylce school and raising hell.

Why the crap is the booze shop closed on fed-holidays? I wanted vodka but noooo we are closed cause the post office is.

Also my camera has been through Utah. So it should be here on time or at least close from the looks of things.

At work the shortened my lunch to a half hour and took my project time away making me spend a hour and a half more on the phones than normal. I did get 45 Min of over time.

I'm 54.something % done with GTA SA. I have a jet in my hangar now and um had to jump from one plane to another while in flight. GTA SA is the greatest game ever.

My new camera was sent on its journey to me around 4 am.

Some schmuck broke an OC3 someplace. Then someone else broke some software and they are restoring crap from backup to get connectivy back up for several sites. They have gotten several back up so far but not Oregon. So I have no internet and I didn't last night.

I have completed 45.99% of GTA SA. And I now have 2 girlfriends within the game. The 2nd one is super kinky.

I had over 230 spam comments from yesterday sometime until I got home today. I little SQL magic cleared things right up as the bulk of it came from a IP address so i blocked that network from commenting and deleted anything with that IP address in the comments table. All the spam comments also make spam mail too cause each comments comes to my e-mail too.. In my haste of cleaning up I deleted at least 1 email that I would have wanted to keep and read. That one being about the next meetup for Eugene Webloggers. I'm sure I can get it again with little effort.

I've ordered a new camera a Canon 300d Digital Rebel. Also traded Chris his Nikon for my small sony and he gave me $400 for my Sony 717. So now I have a Nikon Coolpix 3500 and a Digital SLR on the way.

My x-box modding didn't go as planned. My x-box is too new for this chip. I'm gonna see if Nathan want's to buy it from me.

I'm looking for a new watch too.

tring to get a computer ready to loan to my mom via Tiffany's sister as she has box to loan. It's not much of a box and it has spent the last hour and a half putting SP2 on it.

Tomorrow after Laundry we head to Salem. I do a ram upgrade and XP install and more updates for my dad. Then it's to Portland for X-box modding. It will be a long day.

My watch has stoped on me a few times now. While it may be a batter it may be something else. I might try replaceing the battery as Tiffany suggested. But I almost wonder if the problem is the second hand getting caught up on the minute hand.

I have reached foot-soldier level in GTA SA and am 32.09% done. I know I should do something else when I get home from work. But this game rules. Ask Nathan, who has been cheating at the game and is behind me in progress but still loving it.

Today was an ok day aside from a certain administration retaining office for the next 4 years.

I got my watch back (it's about damn time). Also got word from Chris that he is getting a lookout to stay in for thanks giving weekend. So I plan on do that with him.

And I'm thinking abut getting a nixie clock.

In GTA SA I reached hitman level with the pistol so i can have dual pistols now. I also passed the driving school and gone from Home Boy to Homie.

My current GTA SA rating is Homeboy. And I'm 25.67% done.

Got my X-box mod chip. Thanks to Tiffany going to pick it up at the post office. May be making arangements to get it installed at Lag Master Whites' in Portland this weekend.

Helped 12ish people at work. Ready for weekend. Tomorrow I'm gonna figure out how to put in to use my floating holiday that goes away at the end of the month.

And my problems name is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I can't stop playing and I don't really want to. I think Nathan and I should start a support group. Where all the members get together and play games like GTA SA.

I noticed a tie into GTAIII tonight. One of your partners in crime leaves you for the charater in GTAII.

Today was my 1st day on the phones at work. It went ok. I was able to answer most peoples questions and even solve a couple problems. But I don't know shit about the product(s) I'm supporting right now. Give me another couple weeks to get my self sorted out.
