RalliSport Challenge 2 is an awesome game. If you like car games you will most likely enjoy this one. I've been playing it for a few hours straight now. I haven't even begun to expore the possiblitys or options aviable with the other features of my X-box.

I'm ready for weekend. I didn't sleep so great last night. Didn't get to see chris while he was here yesterday because he wasnt work when I was and when he was working I wasn't. Then get got in late and crashed then got up super early because I think something was wrong or at least thats what his call he got this morning sounded like from his side of the converstation at least the little bit I heard.

Ben Can't post right now he is playing Rallysport 2 on his new super x-box that you wish you had.

Got a call from fedex while I was at the dentist. Then picked up my x-box after I they told me I'm gonna be back several times.

Anyways I've dropped the bigger drive in my box now I just need to get a new dashboard maybe a bios too. Chris will be here tomorrow to help with the rest of the process. Then it will be off to Nathans for more software for the box then time or game night.

I am a machine. I took 36 calls today. I all but single handedly closed the queue at work I was there til 5:30 that kinda sucked but the OT will be good come payday more moeney for operation:newrims and cambercorrection for my Bimmer.

No X-box yet cause Fedex ground SUCKS! they havent called me yet so I called again and attempted to arrange for pickup. Hopefuly they will have it worked out by tomorrow cause if not I may have to treck across town durring lunch to pick it up. Which would suck but not as bad as not getting my x-box. But not getting to eat lunch could be pretty bad for customers and people around me.

There was no game night over the weekend cause everyone was sick except me. Nathan and Sean are both feeling better so its on for Saturday and Chris will be there for the 1st time ever. Should be cool. mmmmm 57inches of game goodness.

I had pretty much forgotten it was Easter until Tiffany and I tried to go to bestbuy and/or circuit city for my x-box hookups and neither was open. It was confusing at first as niether had any sign up with an explanation. Then it hit me EASTER!

Once we got back we hung out and watched some Simpsons before heading to Tiffany's Parent's place for Easter food.

Anyways I started keeping track of codesnippets to be used later or I think might be handy.

I've slowly been getting around to doing some things around here. I just updated the uploader for showme to include other info I want/need.

I've got an entire site to figure out at some point as well I've slowly been chipping away at it but it's gonna take me a while. I'm thinking about cheating and installing dreamweaver or something. I may just blow away the MT template that is there make one like I want and style it up with my own stylesheet. But that is work and I am fundamentaly against work.

Seriously WTF?!? Now the oh so wonderfully opressive bigbrother of all things communication says no DSL without land line. Naked DSL as some call it is/was a fairly new option from phone/DSL providers. Now the FCC has decided it's not an option. Why? My guess is some other whiney phone company lobbied them and hung lots of money in front of some fucko to get it done. Bullshit I tell you.

So Tiffany wasn't feeling any better today so she attempted to make an appoitment at some doctor who does Saturdays. That didn't pan out so she had me take her to urgent care. Urgent care is only a few blocks away so I wasn't going to turn right back around and park my car for more hours as my car wasn't warmed up. So I drove around a little more I thought about going to bestbuy or circuit city for a better input for my x-box once I actualy get it. I decide not to bother and just got on Beltline West from I5 North. This series of on ramps and off ramps is shit coming on to Beltline there is maybe 100meters to get out of the far right lane the ramp puts you on it doesn't merge it just drops you back onto I5 South, all this on a overpass mind you. So you have people tring to get on Beltline and people tring to get to I5 south. I do it many times a week,well the going to I5 South from belt line anyways. But this time I'm coming from I5 north to Beltline West and I decide to get my ass out of the way and pass a couple morons in the process so I move imedatly to the outside lane and procceed on beltline planning on getting of at Delta. But I look back and see a cop and notice he is pacing me I check my speed sure enough I'm over the speed limit I get in the right lane and BAM lights go on I pull over he tells me about the lane change and that he paced me at 68Mph in a 55Mph with wet roads. I told him about dropping my Girlfriend off and I was just out driving now conserned, blah blah. He let me go with a warning on the speed and I got a $94 fine for the lane change which is much less than the running a red was in December.

I should have just gone to best buy or Cirucity city to buy the hookups.

I missed my x-box. Tiffany was home sick but apprently passedout enough to not hear the fedex people. It's quite agrivating to not be able to pick it up at all this weekend so I will have to wait until at least monday. And it wasn't regular fedex it was fedex ground which is the crappy fedex that isn't the one near work... I doubt I will be able to make it pick it up on monday or tuesday or any other day for that matter because I work on the other side of town and I work 8-5ish so if I do get out on time I'd still be hard pressed to find the place intime to pick it up. fuck.

Hooked the PS2 up in the den just because I needed something todo. I've got to get network too it still but that will require purchase of a longer network cable or moving the PS2 to be closer to the network.

My x-box still isn't here and my other one is sold.

I've also got to decide how I'm gonna hook up the x-box. Component? Composite? S-video? Through my reciever with the DVD player so when input selected on revicer the proper picture shows up on screen? or not? I just don't know. But I need to figure it out. Component isn't really an option but s-video or composite are and both will require purchaces. I could move the DVD to composite and use the s-video for the x-box. That''s enough about my wiring issues that I have yet to work out.

Got training on the yet to berealeased product at work. If it works as advertised or it should in theory my job will be much easier.

My x-box that wasn't/isn't moddable by mortal men or Chris is pretty much sold. Why oh why did MS keep changing board revisions to make this harder? I know for a fact Chris bought his to Mod. Many others too I'm sure. If they fuck up and break it then guess what they need a new X-box. Oh and if they mod it they often can play on the live service. So if someone want's live they a) put their box to stock again b) get a second box to play online with.

I personaly want the x-box mod for media playback. Play my legitimate MP3 collection on the stereo in the living room and any number for old school video/movies aviable for download from Archive. You can download Night of the living dead for FREE and legally too. Not to mention other Feature Films. TV shows too.

But MS doesn't want us to do this. Because people steal games and are using something for uses far beyond what it was designed for. Fuckem.

I just scheduled my first dentist apointment in 4 years. The 1st one I ever setup on my own as well. But I know it's gonna be bad. I will most likely have to spend a small fortune in deductables for weeks in a row. So I am requesting the 4 hours off Tuesday morning to deal with that... maybe i can get my oil changed too...

Woke up to email saying my modded x-box is on it's way. After work I got another from amazon saying Waynes World II shipped.

I managed to build a set of rims and tires at Tirerack.com for around $1200 but then I have to have a camber correction possibly some other alignment done as well... So no fun toys for a while until I get all that taken care of as I will have to save up to do it because I don't have a credit card. Nor the desire to get one, even if the one I would want is super sexy (for a credit card)... Hopefuly in the next month or 2 and it will be said and done.

So my car was extra dirty today. I think the construction on the 105 was the primary cause cause I know it wasn't that dirty when I left for work. I noticed how dirty it was when I got off work and washed it once I got home.

So one of the new guys at work is gonna pay me for rides to work in the AM starting tomorrow. Free money basicaly. But it was his idea to pay and worth it enough to him to sleep in an extra halfhour.

If all goes well I will be getting a 19LCD screen for $60 from Chirs. The $60 is for replacement parts (the backlighting is out). So then my desktop computer will have 3 monitors if i can figure out where to put the LCD. Damn that will be cool.

Nathan started training today. Soon he will be tech like me, but nicer and more friendly to the stupid customers than me.

Sean, Eiji and I all helped Nathan brekin his new biggass (57inch) TV by playing video games. Which just makes me wish my supper x-box shows up soonish. I'm more jelous of Nathan's functioning modded x-box than I am of the 57inches of widescreen glowing shiney goodness that sits in his new living space. The only thing he is missing is a bad-ass stereo with 5.1 or 7.1 surround to go with it.

Other than that I took a nap thismorning cause I got up too early. And while I was out Tiffany did a bit of vacumeing and I) thinking disposing of stuff to good will. Now we just have to list some stuff for the ebay. Got a busted laptop, some laptop HDs, a old school digitizer, and other computery crap.

Tires Rotated, Roundel replaced, Coweling Replaced, Wheel Well liner replaced.

Unfourtunatly all the tires seem to be worn in the same or simmilar fassion so I'm gonna try try to save some money and replace them in the next 3 or so months. Perhaps even get things looked at to prevent the same thing from happening. Perhaps if I'm feeling daring a new set of rims to go with?

Nathan bought a 57inch Hitatchi TV. He gets it tomorrow. So Sean and I will most likely go over and play as well.

Just got my $100 rebate from t-mobile for my newish phone. That will help with the money spent on my car and new x-box.

My car parts showed up today. Big ass box I would to install the roundel at least but it's raning and I'm lazy. If all goes well it all gets installed tomorrow and tires rotated.

Now only for my damn x-box to show up.

Tiffany and I went to Salem last night. Had dinner with Cat and Chris. Got home late. The drive home was worth it cause I have to work today. Chris and Cat were tring to convince us to stay the night stay up late eat icecream and watch movie but I was about to get up at 6 or 6:30 to come home then go to work after not enough sleep.

Ordered my mostly complete modded x-box last night. Mostly? you ask, Rather than having them drop a larger drive in for me for another $80ish I will drop my own once it gets here.

Work was slow. It was cool. Everyone around me got moved today. I missed training because I was in colorado for the wedding so I didn't get trained in the other products so I didn't get moved to sit with the people supporting those products. No biggie now it's quite in Ben Country, thats what I call the 3 cubes surounding mine...

Going to a meetup at 6:30... I didn't forget this time... Last time was the 1st one I missed and this time is my 1st time at the new location (Tracktown Pizza).

Ordered my car parts while I ate breakfast this morning. Got my shipping confermation at lunch time. So my parts should be here intime for the weekend to be installed. Assuming I'm smart enough to install them. Or the collective smarts of me Nathan and maybe Sean.

TIffany's Lensebaby is here already. I think she ordered Sunday evening. But it was just coming from Portland. I'm tempted to open it and playwith it.

Still nothing solid from Rob on the X-box purchase but last i heard sounded like he was going to buy it. I can't decide if I just want to buy the premodded one or wait until my current one is sold. I know Nathan is going to say buy the premodded one now. But it's not his money.

I'm a little sore in the sholders from helping Nathan yesterday. I slept pretty good last night. I'm tired again tonight.

I talked to secuirty tonight to get my badge activated to open up the gym/weight room at work. So now that I have access to it I have much less of an excuse to not be using it. Perhaps tomorrow evening I will go check it out.

Last night I found an online steam at a new home. I used to listen to this stream all the time. It taken offline because of the RIAA wanting royaltys for internet broadcasts. I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it yet but hopefuly it's as good as before.

So I spent the last 3ish hours taking apart my old sony laptop carefuly removing the power connector from my oldschool fujitsu tablet thingy then carefuly removing the sony's power connector and installing the one form the tablet to the sony. The operation was a failure. No lights no blinks, no blips, no beeps, no anything. So I'm gonna get rid of it. I found a guy on Craigs List who is wanting dead Vaio's so if I can get a few bucks for it I'll be happy.

I should get a newer laptop though. Maybe a powerbook. yeah a powerbook would be sweet. All that Unix goodness and with built in wireless and bluetooth. I'd have save or borrow a lot before I could do that.

I've started working on a page for the whole photography group/club thing. So far 3.5 members. I signed Chris up but he doesn't know yet. But if anything I would say he is member number 1 or 2 as he and I used to randomly pack our cameras up and go someplace and shoot when we both lived in Salem. Now I'm looking to expand on that with more people and places. Now to determine where we will go first. I'm thinking I may setup a mailing list for this as well. One email address to reach us all and discuss the whens wheres and whats. Also a name is needed. So far I've been calling it Photo Club and thats really lame.

I also noticed a little extra wear on the inside of my front tires. I think I need them rotated the wear is even on both sides so I belive it is how the car is setup rather than alignment type problem but I am looking into it. I think I just need to rotate my tires. I may need to enlist Nathan and jackstands from Sean to get it done but it's easy enough.

Jon sent in a new showme but it is too small to be used I requested a larger version. I think I am going to changethe submission page ask for a min width and I forgot a couple of the fields for the submission like the city and state/country...

Bestbuy opened in Springfield yesterday too bad I'm outa money. Maybe I will check it out tuesday or wait until I need to buy something. Cause I will most likely order my pre-modded xbox come payday.

These lenses look interesting. It's a flexible lense that allows you to move the focus around. They are farily cheap. Maybe I'll get one sometime.

As the weather improves I think more about tring to organize some sort of field-trip/gathering for interested photographers. Get a handfull of people and travel to an senic type place to shoot like a city, park, coast, desert, etc. Perhaps meeting up with other people from the area being traveled too as well. the problem is recruiting. I can't count on people coming here and signing up to do this so I'd have to some recruiting and thats not really my style but maybe I will eventualy. but if you are interested just let me know.

Now that it's here I don't know what to do with it. It is going to be to dark to wash my car in a matter of minuets so thats out. I'm out of money until tuesday (payday). Tiffany will be home very soon, but chances are she won't have much of and idea of something to do. But damn am I glad it's friday.

Nathan my need some help to move some stuff around tomorrow. Other than that I gots no plans for the weekend. Aside from washing my car as it's all dusty. Not dity mind you the dust is just sitting on it I think I need a duster for my car.

I am feeling very unmodivated. I don't remember the last time I felt this burnt out. I'd take a nap but it 6pm which means I'd wake up and go back to bed and wake up at like 3 am and that wouldn't be good for anyone. Well maybe the places that are open that late or some online vendor who carries something i find my self needing/wanting at that time.

Chris was here last night. Loopy as hell. I guess working 40hours between saturday and monday will do it to you. We didn't get to Heat last night but I'm watching it now.

Tomorrow is Friday. It's about damn time too.

Building a website is kinda building a house. It takes time planning, the right tools, a foundation. If building a website is like building a house a webpage it self is more like a room, closet, garage, very simple in it self in most cases. Once it's down it rewarding and typicaly doesn't need a ton of maintnence.

Damn I got nothing today. If you read that I'm sorry for wasting your time and bandwidth.

The weather very nice again. I should do something fun and outside this weekend. I still don't know what the crap there is to do around this town. Salem I knew the surrouding places to go walk, to go hike, to go swim, to go camp, to go. Here I go to work I go home. I go to the store. I grew up in Salem so I grew up going to those places and went there in highschool with friends providing me with that information. I hear of places around here but I ask where they are and people say they are near someplace eles that I have never heard of. If I have heard of it I most likely wouldn't be able to find it on my own. It's not that I am directionaly impared I'm just not familar with the area. Therefor this town sucks.

Doesn't look like Rob will be buying my unmoddable X-box. But I might just buy the premodded one anyways and sell mine on ebay or craigs list or something or keep it and have 2.

So Rob might buy my x-box from me for $100 and I can get a premodded one with the badass LCD thing nathan showed me for like $330ish something. Then I just drop my own big drive in and call it done.

Work was nice and slow today. Way more goof off time than ususal. I like that. I did have to deal with a few tards one of them didn't know how to unzip a file. I didn't have to talk to her for very long.

Drove home with the sun roof open and music up. Very nice weather out today to bad I only get to see the tail end of it each day. It's hard to belive it's only monday.

I need to email secuirty at work and have them let me into the gym at work then I need to get my supervisor to email them to get me 24/7 access. then I need to start using the damn gym....

Nathan and I went out as we both had crap to buy. He go Tekken 5 and looked for the printer cable needed for his printer with crazy hookups and I got my self a new 160GB drive.

I got home hooked all the drives up in hopes of moving data around with the use of something like ghost. Damn thing boots right to the old drive to XP 1st try. So I got my super boot CD and gosted the damn thing to the new drive. So no needing to reinstall anything. Now I gotta find something to do with my new bigass drive.

I also took out my secondary 60gig and put it in an external firewire encloser that has been kicking around for a while. This was done to help cut down on heat inside the case.

So I turned on my desktop and walked away intending on coming back once it's finished booting. I get back from making my bagle and screen reads "Primary Hard Disk Failure". So I'm down one 60GB driver and three plus years of email and four ISOs(Solaris 10) that I had intended to burn today to play with. Some CDs will have to be re-ripped... And the warranty on the drive was up in december so today I go out and buy a new one and reload as much as possible on the box today.

I don't think anything very important other than emails was lost. I need to come up with a good backup solution that requires me to do almost nothing...

After catching a movie at the cheap seats Tiffany and I spotted a 2005 Mustang. They are pretty good looking. But here is a bit of food for thought. The GT version has a 4.6 Liter V8 that produceses 300HP. The BMW M3 has a 3.2 Liter I6 (inline) that produceses 333HP.... Now the BMW may start and $47,000 where the Ford ends around $27,000 but if you ask me it's worth it... One day I will own an BMW with an M designation.

Last night I ordered Heat and Purple. They shipped today. Tiffany has Heat on VHS but VHS sucks so I won't be watching it until it gets here.

Nathan thinks I have too much disposable income. I might. I think he is just jelous cause I have cool toys.

After many minuets of poking around and working at the gallery while I put cusotmers on hold and using the better part of my 1st break I got the gallery futher than before. Nothing there yet so not sure if it works yet or not but confidence is high, I repeat confidence is high. So look for that later to night or this weekend perhaps. Also new pictures will be added once I get around to it.

Then on to other things. Like maybe fixing the forum or fixing the showme page. Among other smallish features and pages.

So the upgrade my host did allows me to upload with MT now! before it was busted cause there was some damn module missing. So here is a picture of Downtown Denver from the hotel room the night we arrived.

Mean while I have spent the past 2ish hours fighting stupid pages at my host company that are supposed extract files for me. It half worked. But it doesnt seem to want to untar them and windows doesn't want upload it all cause the built in ftp faclitys leave everything to be desired. So fedora saves the day. I use its built in ftp facilitys and upload it all in one shot. BAM! I'm working on a new gallery incase you were wondering. cause the one that was there is busted cause nomore outbound DB connections. So after all the work. It still wont work it wont allow sessions apprently. So I will try something diffrent tomorrow. Cause this just pissed me off good.

Next week I will have to work 5 days in a row. That will be rough after having a few short weeks in a row then 5 days off and 3 day work week.

I've started a list for updates/fixes for the site since the migration. I just have to figure out where to start. So if some things work then don't or don't then do or compeletly fuckin change all the sudden that is most likely why. I think I'm gonna do some of that now.

So I installed simcity2000 on an old laptop yesterday. I have already managed to get 2 of the launch archologys up. It used to take me much longer to get that far. now too bad the game cannot be beat.

Training was ok. They spent more time on how the product works not how to fix it. I suppose if they taught us to fix it too the training may have to take 2 days. Supposedly we will be getting training for another product in a matter of weeks.

I've also got plans to revamp/rebuild the showme page.... Partly cause it's broken right about now. 2 because I have an decent uploader script so you don't have to email me with your submissions. But justbecause it gets submittied it may not get to go up.... But that may take me a while to do though. Cause I'm lazy. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna bring the forums back or not...

I guess I have more to say.

I'm quite close to buying an ipod. But I don't know that I really want to or which one to buy, 4gig? 6gig? 20gig? more? Because I then would have to get the thing for my Car Stereo to let me control and play the Ipod through my deck. Which at minimum would be another $100 for the box that lets that happen from there it just gets worse, say I want to keep my CD/MP3 Changer the box that lets me do both cost another $150 and provides more inputs that I wont be using. Then because I'm too lazy to bother with my own installation and don't know how to get my deck out with out the use of a crowbar or pry tool of somekind and damaging the goods in the process. So the total could get quite high real quick like.

I'm also thinking about building another old project Idea. But I'm not quite sure as it would be more expensive and involved than others so far. Big and potentaly heavy too... Maybe a modified version of it. It involves solar cells and toys.

Tomorrow is back to work. I think I forgot some of my passwords.

Today was my turn to get my account upgraded with my host company. I now have about a gig of stoage, a bunch more bandwidth. The upgrade also broke a few things, like pages that used a database hosted not on their servers. Moveable Type was broken as well but I managed to get them to install the missing module for perl so now it's all fine and dandy again. I think I still have to fix the the forum. Maybe I will just install a better form. That bb stuff kinda sucks. I like powerboard much better.

Colorado chapped my lips sometihng fierce. They hurt. It was very dry and rather cold.

today my newest CD showed up "I don't mean to insult you but you look like Bobcat Goldthwait" Some funny stuff I highly recommend this CD. I wish I could get the pulpcomic's episode he did for comedy central in the 90s on DVD or in another digital form.

So I picked up my new key for my car that came over a year later. Also got the blub I need for the dash light, but lack the modivation to put it in. That will be someday. I also have put off a needed wash as it looks like it is going to rain. Not that it has stopped me in the past. I did hookup my new 4 port KVM and get Fedora installed on my "test" machine. I also managed to get several stains on my pants.
